Frequently asked questions
- Where is my data saved?
- In this browser only, using local storage. Nothing is sent to DeskTools. Clearing your browser's site data deletes your employees and requests, and they won't appear on other devices or browsers.
- Can my whole team use it together?
- Not yet. The tracker lives in one browser on one device, so it works best when one person keeps the records. Shared team access is planned for the Teams plan, and you can join the waitlist on the Pricing page.
- Does it skip weekends and public holidays?
- No. The tracker doesn't count days from the dates for you. Enter the number of working days each request uses, leaving out weekends and US federal or UK bank holidays as your policy requires.
