Refund and cancellation policy

Tips are voluntary

DeskTools is free to use. Tips are optional, pay-what-you-want payments to support the site. You choose the amount and can change it on the checkout page before you pay. Because a tip is a voluntary contribution rather than a purchase, tips are non-refundable, except as described below.

Duplicate or erroneous charges

If you were charged twice, charged an amount you didn’t intend, or charged in error, email hello@getdesktools.com within 7 days of the payment. Include the payment ID or receipt, the date, and the amount. We’ll check it and, where the charge was a duplicate or an error, refund it in full to your original payment method. Refunds are processed through our payment provider and usually reach your account within 5–7 business days after we approve them, depending on your bank.

Cancellation

Tips are one-off payments. There is no subscription or recurring charge to cancel. If you change your mind before completing checkout, just close the payment page and nothing is charged.
