What we collect

DeskTools serves freelancers and small businesses in the United States and United Kingdom. We collect the minimum needed to improve the tools:

• Email leads — if you submit the interest form, we store your email address, optional note, which tool you used, and any UTM parameters you arrived with.
• Usage analytics — if Google Analytics 4 is configured via NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID, standard page-view data may be collected.

File uploads

Where possible, CSV and similar files are processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload your bank statements, timesheets, or quote data to our servers for the current MVP tools. Generated PDFs are created on your device.

How we use data

Lead emails help us decide which tools to build next and may be used to send occasional product updates. We do not sell your personal data.

Storage

Lead submissions are appended to a local JSON file on the server and, if configured, may also be forwarded to Formspark. Keep that file out of version control.
